Pass-and-Play Senet - Take Turns Throwing and Moving

Black to playHome0/0

Two players, one screen

Set a phone, tablet, or laptop between the two of you and start right away. No room code, no login, no waiting on a connection. Black throws first. If you want to keep score, agree on whether undo is allowed before game one, then play two games so each person gets Black once.

Throw, move, pass

The status bar tells you whether it is Black's turn or White's. Throw first, then move. The board highlights only the pieces that are legal on that throw. Until you tap one of them, the move is not locked in. Once the turn color changes, pass the device across.

If it lights up, it can move

The usual first-game disputes are always the same: can this piece get past a linked block, can it skip house 26, and is 15 open if the water house sends it back. The highlights already account for the reconstructed rules. If a piece is lit, the move is legal. That does not mean it is the strongest choice.

Agree on undo before you start

If you agreed that undo is allowed, use it before the other player makes the next throw. Once the device changes hands, the position stands. Replay is for reviewing the game after it ends, not for taking back someone else's turn.
